At 2.00 am ET Wednesday, the Office for National Statistics has released UK consumer and producer prices for September. After these data, the pound weakened against its major rivals.

The pound was trading at 168.67 against the yen, 1.1248 against the franc, 1.1294 against the greenback and 0.8705 against the euro around 2:03 am ET.
