International stocks trading in New York closed higher Friday.

The BNY Mellon index of American depositary receipts rose 0.7%, to 150.28. The European index increased 0.3%, to 180.58. The Asian index rose 1.3%, to 180.58. The Latin American index increased 1.2% to 262.96 and the emerging-markets index rose 1.2% to 328.89.

ADRs of Kingtone Wirelessinfo Solution Holding Ltd (KONE) fell 7% to $3.70 after the company released its annual report.

Companhia Siderúrgica Nacional (SID) said that its subsidiary, CSN Resources S.A., changed the terms of its previously announced cash tender offers to reduce the aggregate principal amount of notes that will be accepted for purchase from $750 million to $350 million. ADRs rose 4.1% to $3.08.

CGG (CGG) said its share offering was over subscribed and that JG Capital Management withdrew its third-party opposition they had filed against the judgment approving a safeguard plan. ADRs jumped 33% to $4.41.
