Orange (ORA.FR) said on Tuesday that its board of directors has voted in favor to reappoint Stephane Richard as chief executive and chairman of the board for a four-year term.

The French telecommunications company said the board is satisfied with Mr. Richard's "positive track record over the past eight years as the head of Orange."

Orange said Mr. Richard's reappointment will be put to the vote at the company's annual general meeting, scheduled for May 4.
