Appointment of new Senior Independent Director

Following Andrew Thomas's decision not to seek re-election at the Company's 2019 AGM, Playtech announces that John Jackson has been appointed as its Senior Independent Director ("SID").

The Nomination Committee identified John as the best candidate to take over as Playtech's SID. John has over 30 years of PLC experience and is the longest serving Non-Executive Director on Playtech's Board.

John's experience and knowledge of Playtech will provide important continuity and stability as the Company conducts the search for a new Chairman and following the recent appointment of four Non-Executive Directors.

This announcement has been made in accordance with the requirements of Listing Rule 9.6.11.
