Prudential's Vietnam Unit Enters Bancassurance Partnership With SeABank

Prudential Vietnam Assurance Private Limited, a unit of
Prudential PLC (2378.HK), has entered into an exclusive
bancassurance partnership with Vietnam's Southeast Asia Commercial
Joint Stock Bank.
The partnership will build on Prudential's strategy to expand
its reach in Asia, where there is growing demand for health,
protection and wealth management products, the insurer said in a
statement Monday.
Bancassurance agreements typically grant insurers exclusive
rights to sell their products through partner banks' branches.
The 20-year term partnership is expected to be effective from
April.
