Siemens AG will supply compression and power generation equipment for the Balikpapan refinery in Indonesia.

The German engineering group said Thursday that the supply includes 17 reciprocating compressors and a single-stage, hot gas expander.

The facility belongs to Indonesian state-owned oil-and-gas company PT Pertamina and is located on the Borneo island.
