Knorr-Bremse AG said Wednesday that it had signed a contract with Siemens AG's mobility business to equip high-speed trains for German railway operator Deutsche Bahn AG.

The German supplier will provide braking systems and entrance systems for 30 ICE trains that are built by Siemens Mobility, and the contract has an option to equip another 60 trains.

The order, which will be delivered from the first quarter of 2021 until the third quarter of 2024, has a total value in the mid double-digit million euros range, Knorr-Bremse said.
