American Stock Exchange Lists Units of Liberty Acquisition Holdings Corp.

NEW YORK, Dec 7 /PRNewswire/ -- The American Stock Exchange(R)
(Amex(R)) today lists the units of Liberty Acquisition Holdings
Corp. under the ticker symbol LIA.U. The offering size is
90,000,000 units at $10.00 per unit for gross proceeds of
$900,000,000 ($1,035,000,000, if the underwriters' over- allotment
option is exercised in full).Each unit consists of one share of
common stock and one half of one warrant. Initially, the units will
be the only security trading. The lead underwriter for this
offering is Citi, with Lehman Brothers Inc. acting as co-manager.
Liberty Acquisition Holdings Corp. is a company recently formed to
acquire one or more operating businesses through a merger, stock
exchange, asset acquisition, reorganization or similar business
combination. The Company will not limit its efforts in identifying
a prospective target business to a particular industry. "We are
