              Welcomes Beatles Availability at Apple iTunes Store 
 
Chrysalis PLC ("Chrysalis" or "the Group"), the leading independent music 
publisher, is poised to generate additional producer royalties from The Beatles 
following this week's decision to make the band's legendary catalogue available 
at the Apple iTunes Store for the first time. 
 
The Group now anticipates increased demand for The Beatles' digitally 
re-mastered catalogues, for which Chrysalis holds George Martin's producer 
master rights. 
 
Jeremy Lascelles, Chief Executive, said: "The world has been waiting for this 
for some time. The Beatles catalogue is arguably the greatest body of recorded 
music in the popular music canon, and it continues to re-generate itself on a 
regular and consistent basis. Last year it was the digital re-mastering 
campaign, and now we can look forward to the catalogue being available on iTunes 
for the first time." 
 
As previously announced, Chrysalis expects benefits from the digital 
re-mastering of the entire Beatles back catalogue to come through in 2010, along 
with royalties associated with 'The Beatles Rock Band' video game, for which The 
Group has high hopes. 
 
"Monetising the opportunities for the music publishing business in the digital 
environment is an important part of the Group's growth strategy," added Mr 
Lascelles. 
 
Chrysalis will announce its preliminary results on 16 December 2010.
