Notification and public disclosure of transactions by persons discharging managerial responsibilities ("PDMR") and persons closely associated with them.

City of London (LSE: CLIG), a leading specialist asset management group offering a range of institutional and retail products investing primarily in closed-end funds, has been notified that Executive Director Mark Dwyer has exercised 50,000 share options at an exercise price of GBP3.60 per share, and also sold 12,500 ordinary shares of GBP0.01 each in the Company ("Ordinary Shares") at a price of GBP5.34 per share.

Following these transactions, Mr. Dwyer's beneficial interest is 277,092 Ordinary Shares, representing approximately 0.5% of the Company's issued share capital.
