Result of Annual General Meeting

Following the Annual General Meeting ('AGM') of the Company held earlier today, the Board is pleased to announce that all ordinary and special resolutions put to shareholders were passed.

Details of the proxy votes cast will shortly be published on the Company's web site at www.europeanopportunitiestrust.com .

In accordance with Listing Rule 9.6.2, a copy of the special resolutions passed at the AGM has been submitted to the National Storage Mechanism and will shortly be available for inspection at:

Final dividend of 2.5p

Resolution 3 at the AGM proposed the payment of a final dividend of 2.5p per ordinary share in respect of the financial year ended 31 May 2022. The dividend was approved and will be paid on 28 November 2022 to those shareholders on the Register of Members at close of business on 04 November 2022. The ex-dividend date was 03 November 2022.

Retirement of Andrew Sutch as a director

Andrew Sutch retired as a director and chair of the Company at the conclusion of the AGM. The Board wish to thank Andrew for his valuable contribution to the Company during his term in office. Matthew Dobbs has been appointed as chair with immediate effect.

Appointment of Singer Capital Markets as corporate broker

Following a tender process, the Board is pleased to announce that it has appointed Singer Capital Markets Advisory LLP as corporate broker to the Company with immediate effect. The Board wish to thank Cenkos Securities PLC for their past service to the Company in this capacity.
