(NYSE: KR) announced today it has reached a tentative agreement on a new contract with the United Food & Commercial Workers Union Local 1995 in Nashville, Tennessee. The tentative agreement covers more than 8,500 Kroger associates who work in 94 stores in and around Nashville and Knoxville, Tennessee and Huntsville, Alabama. The UFCW will present the tentative agreement to its members for consideration. Details of the tentative agreement are not being released pending ratification.
