On 7 April, 2003 the Company was informed of a transaction on 1 April, by David
Frankling and his wife, involving the sale of 36,000 shares at 37.12p and
re-purchase into an ISA of the same number of shares at 37.12p.

On 7 April, 2003 the Company was informed of a transaction on 3 April, by Andrew
Lee and his wife, involving the sale of 37,400 shares at 37p and re-purchase
into an ISA of the same number of shares at 37.15p.

Following this announcement, the beneficial interest of the aforementioned
directors in the issued ordinary share capital of the Company are as follows:-
