WQN Inc. (OTCPK:WQNI), a leading online security software provider of mobile phone applications protecting children from sexual predators, cyber-bullies, and texting-related car crashes, announced a retail pilot program agreement with AT&T-authorized dealers to offer WQNI's acclaimed RatedSafeTM child-protection and parental-notification mobile phone application to AT&T mobile phone customers.

WQNI's RatedSafeTM mobile phone application is an advanced parental-control mobile phone application provisioned and activated with a child's mobile phone account, enabling parents to protect children from offensive or predatory communications, and alerting parents to potentially dangerous conditions involving children performing mobile phone texting while driving.

WQNI, Verizon and AT&T have agreed to deploy the retail point-of-sale pilot program through Verizon AT&T-authorized dealers, offering WQNI's RatedSafeTM application to AT&T mobile phone customers seeking parental-protection tools to monitor their children's mobile phone activities.

"WQNI's RatedSafeTM mobile phone application is a parental power tool that helps parents keep their kids safe—and also helps parents become better parents," said WQN Inc. CEO Michael Adler. "Customers of Verizon and AT&T-authorized dealers across North America will be soon be able to activate RatedSafeTM to screen and filter antisocial or threatening text messages received by their children, and be notified when their children are texting in a moving vehicle."

RatedSafeTM automatically blocks any kind of pornographic ads on a child's mobile phone Internet browser, and triggers email alerts to parents when their child receives a suspicious, offensive threading, or sexually explicit text message, including sending the parent an email containing the entire dialog of the text messages in question. Using mobile phone-embedded GPS technology, RatedSafeTM also triggers e-mail alerts to parents if a teen-driven vehicle exceeds the posted speed limit by more than 11 mph, and can automatically disable wireless Internet and text messaging communications while the teen is driving an automobile.

"We are very excited and look forward to the Web Safety product rolling out across all AT&T dealers," says John David, a participating AT&T-authorized dealer. "I believe that AT&T customers will be eager to add this enhanced level of parental protection, and children will come to value it for the peace of mind it gives their family, as well."

The Verizon & AT&T RatedSafeTM pilot program is scheduled for a Q2 2012 launch. Participating Verizon & AT&T-authorized dealers will receive RatedSafeTM marketing collateral and merchandising material for retail point-of-sale distribution offering a 30 day FREE version of the bundled app, training materials detailing the benefits of the RatedSafeTM child-protection and parental-notification application, and employee incentive programs to promote and encourage RatedSafeTM activations.
