WebSafety, Inc. (OTCQB:WBSI), the leading provider of child-protection and parental-notification mobile phone solutions, announced today a major upgrade of their WebSafetyTM anti-cyberbullying, child-safety online and mobile phone software solutions. "Cyberbullying" involves Internet or mobile phone communications between children, preteens, or teens intended to threaten, harass, humiliate, embarrass, torment, or target victims—frequently resulting in physical attacks or suicide attempts.

Provisioned and activated with a child's mobile phone account, WebSafetyTM enables parents to protect their children from threatening, offensive, or inappropriate text-message or email communications. Parents receive instant email and text-message alerts from WebSafetyTM if their child receives or sends mobile phone communications involving bullying, threats, or predatory comments, "sexting" or sexually inappropriate behavior, and references to self-harm, suicide, drug use, gun use, and more.

WebSafetyTM filters mobile phone texting or email communications through the world's largest word-recognition library of words, slang terms, and catch phrases involving cyberbullying, sexual behavior, and harmful activities. Suspicious words or phrases automatically trigger email and text-message alerts to parents that include the entire email exchange or text-message dialog thread of the child's mobile phone communications in question.

"Cyberbullying among children using mobile phones and mobile devices has become so prevalent and traumatic that parents need an effective way to protect their children by detecting and monitoring potential cyberbullying behavior," said Rowland W. Day II, CEO of WebSafety, Inc. "WebSafetyTM provides a powerful arsenal of anti-cyberbullying parental countermeasures that enables parents to actively monitor their children's mobile phone communications—and deal decisively with acts of cyberbullying the instant they are detected."

The new WebSafetyTM online parental monitoring solution is offered as a $7.99 monthly subscription, activated and provisioned from the company's website (www.websafety.com), with the WebSafety mobile phone application available as a free download. WebSafetyTM supports Android-based mobile phones and RIM BlackBerry mobile phones, with future support planned for Apple iPhone and iOS mobile devices, and Windows Phone-based mobile devices. WebSafetyTM is also licensed and distributed by WQN Inc. (Pink Sheets:WQNI) through their brand RatedSafeTM, available through retail and online markets.

"WebSafetyTM provides a low-cost parental monitoring service accessible through any web browser, along with free mobile phone applications that work on any mobile network in the world," said Brian Fowler, WebSafety Technology Advisory Board member. "Unlike applications that focus solely on social media networks, WebSafetyTM enables parents to actively monitor the tremendous amount of mobile phone-based 'texting' communications that occur outside of the realm of social media networking."

WebSafetyTM also offers a parental "Where Are You?" feature, enabling parents to locate the physical whereabouts of their children's mobile phone or mobile device via the WebSafety.com online dashboard application. Leveraging GPS technology, WebSafetyTM is capable of creating "geo-fencing" boundaries for the child, enabling parents to use online mapping capabilities to define a geographic area where the child is permitted to freely roam. If the child's mobile phone is located outside of that defined "geo-fence" an email and text message notification alert is immediately sent to the parent, including real-time location information pinpointing the precise location of the children's mobile phone or mobile device at that given moment.
