Appointment of new Chairman of the Board

Best of the Best PLC (LSE: BOTB), the provider of online competitions to win cars and other prizes, announces that David Firth has today been appointed as Independent Non-Executive Chairman of the Board. David is currently an Independent Non-Executive Director and has been with the Company since 2018.

As previously announced in the Company's Preliminary Results announcement on 16 June 2021, Michael Hindmarch, who has served as Chairman since the Company's IPO, will step down from the Board with immediate effect.

In addition, the Company has commenced the search for a suitable candidate for the role of Independent Non-Executive Director to add further balance and experience to the Board composition, and the Company will make a further announcement in due course.

Commenting on the Board change, departing Chairman Michael Hindmarch, stated:

"BOTB is a very different business than it was at IPO and the successful transition to an online only model has created significant opportunities. David knows the business well and I am in no doubt that under his stewardship the Company is well placed to continue its long term growth trajectory and create value for shareholders. I am confident that BOTB is well placed for sustained success."

Commenting on the Board change, incoming Chairman David Firth, stated:
