City of London (LSE: CLIG), a leading specialist asset management group offering a range of institutional and retail products investing primarily in closed-end funds, has been notified that on 14 June 2021 Peter E. Roth, a Non-Executive Director, purchased a total of 5,000 ordinary shares of GBP0.01 each in the Company ("Ordinary Shares") at a price of GBP5.393758 per share.

Following this purchase, Mr. Roth's beneficial interest is 5,000 Ordinary Shares, representing approximately 0.01% of the Company's issued share capital.
