Ecclesiastical Insurance Office plc, the specialist financial
services group, today announces that it has raised EUR30,000,000 in
nominal amount of Tier 2 Capital by way of a privately-placed issue
of 20-year subordinated bonds, callable after Year 10. The rate of
interest until the call date is fixed at 6.3144%. Application will
be made to list the bonds on the International Stock Exchange,
Guernsey.
The proceeds will be used to enhance the Group's capital base to
enable it to take advantage of profitable growth opportunities
across the markets in which it operates.
