Exercise of share Options and Issue of Equity

Equals Group plc, the fintech payments group focused on the SME marketplace, announces that following the exercise of employee share options by a former employee, application has been made for the admission of 50,000 new ordinary shares of 1p each, with trading expected to occur on AIM at 8:00am on 21 September 2021 ("Admission").

Following Admission, the Company will have 179,341,807 ordinary shares of 1p each in issue admitted to trading on AIM. The Company holds no shares in Treasury. Accordingly, the above figure (179,341,807), may be used as the denominator for the calculations by which shareholders will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the Company under the FCA's Disclosure Guidance and Transparency Rules.
