Issuance and Investment Update

JPMorgan Global Core Real Assets Limited (the 'Company' or 'JARA') announced the issuance of 5,850,000 new Ordinary shares on the 14th July and 2,000,000 Ordinary shares on 15th July to a mix of institutional investors via the Company's placing programme.

The majority of proceeds from the issuance of new Ordinary shares will be used to make an initial allocation to the U.S. Core Real Estate Mezzanine Debt strategy ("Mezzanine Debt Strategy"), as identified in the Prospectus dated 10th November 2020. Following changes in the real estate market post COVID-19, the Manager believes that the Mezzanine Debt Strategy offers an attractive risk / reward profile. This allocation will enhance JARA's income profile as the Mezzanine Debt Strategy is currently delivering returns at the top end of JARA's total return target (7-9%), with an income projection of 4-6% in local currency, while reducing overall volatility.

The Manager continues to see attractive opportunities in real assets, which are expected to be beneficiaries of a higher inflationary environment, and has access to unique investment opportunities across the J.P. Morgan Asset Management Alternatives Platform. Given the attractive opportunity set and subject to appropriate conditions, the Company is prepared to issue additional shares to meet investor demand.
