Contract award - Airport bussing management software and
passenger information systems
Journeo plc (AIM: JNEO), the information systems and transport
technical services group, is pleased announce that it has signed a
contract with Transdev Airport Services to provide real-time
information systems and on-vehicle hardware for public and staff
shuttle services used across car parks and inter-terminal
operations at a major UK international airport.
The total value, including software and support services over
the five-year term is expected to be GBP2.5m. Delivery of the first
tranche of new vehicles is due to commence in the first quarter of
2022, with approximately GBP1m of Journeo's equipment, software and
services being commissioned during FY2022.
Journeo will be providing its latest airport car park and
inter-terminal operation management software which allows systems
installed on-board vehicles, including new android-based
interactive driver terminals, CCTV, Wi-Fi and passenger counting
systems to communicate in real-time with the Journeo Transit
Portal, a highly secure and scalable SaaS solution.
Transdev are a world-class player in the mobility market with
83,000 employees, 42,000 vehicles and operations in 17 countries.

the production of unrestricted, environmentally friendly forms of
travel suitable for all types of passenger. With a growing market
