Public transport information display systems GBP1.3m purchase orders

Journeo plc (AIM: JNEO), the information systems and transport technical services group, is pleased to announce that it has received purchase orders for the supply of its advanced public transport information Systems from a Northern Transport Partnership.

The purchase orders worth GBP1.3m in total are part of tranche 2, announced on 10 December 2019, of the Transforming Cities Fund (TCF) and include the supply of the company's latest double-sided thin-film transistor (TFT) display systems. Approximately GBP1m is expected to be delivered in the current financial year.

These new displays systems equipped with remote condition monitoring extend the core platform for our Content Management Software which was delivered during last year as part of the GBP1.9m award announced in February 2020. Our innovative design approach reduces the need for periodic maintenance visits which not only reduces travel and associated pollution, but importantly, reduces whole life cycle costs for our customers".
