The notification set out below is provided in accordance with the requirements of the UK Market Abuse Regulation.

abrdn plc was advised on 5 October 2021 by Equiniti Financial Services Limited that the following interests in ordinary shares were acquired as a result of an election by a Person Discharging Managerial Responsibilities (PDMR) to participate in the dividend reinvestment plan ('DRIP'). The shares were purchased as a result of the reinvestment of the 2021 interim dividend of 7.3p per share. The purchase price of the shares was GBP2.5241 per share.
