Pound Declines After U.K. Retail Sales

Following the release of UK retail sales for December at 4:30 am
ET Friday, the pound dropped against its major rivals.
The pound was trading at 1.3910 against the greenback, 153.89
against the yen, 0.8821 against the euro and 1.3292 against the
franc around 4:31 am ET.
