--Rome-based energy giant Enel expects to invest $900 million in Brazilian distributor Eletropaulo between 2019 and 2021, after acquiring 73% of its share capital, reports EFE.

--"Eletropaulo, in our opinion, hasn't realized the investments it needed over the last years," says Carlo Zorzoli, who heads Enel in Brazil, at a press conference in Sao Paulo.

--The investment will be focused on improving the electrical grid and digitalizing the company, reports EFE.
