The Japanese yen weakened against its major counterparts in the European session on Tuesday.

Reversing from an early high of 111.73 against the greenback, the yen weakened to 112.19.

The yen declined to an 11-day low of 73.85 against the kiwi and a 6-day low of 86.60 against the loonie, off its previous highs of 73.14 and 86.01, respectively.

The yen hit a 4-day low of 148.35 against the pound, down from a high of 146.89 seen at 5:15 pm ET.

The yen fell back to 113.57 against the franc and 129.97 against the euro, not far from its early Asian session's 4-day lows of 113.61 and 130.06, respectively.

After a brief pause, the yen resumed decline and fell to a 4-day low of 80.10 against the aussie.

The yen is likely to find support around 114.00 against the greenback, 151.00 against the pound, 132.00 against the euro, 115.00 against the franc, 75.00 against the kiwi, 88.00 against the loonie and 82.00 against the aussie.
