--A French telecommunication watchdog, ARCEP, said that Orange
didn't meet its obligations when it comes to providing other
operators access to its copper cable network, Les Echos
reported.
--ARCEP could now sanction Orange with an additional fine of up
to almost EUR1 billion--or 5% of the company's turnover--if the
French telecommunication firm doesn't comply with the law, the
report said.
--This is the second warning within a few months from the
telecommunication watchdog to Orange, which has already been
threatened with another EUR1 billion fine, according to Les
Echos.
