Baker Hughes, a G.E. Company (BHGE) on Tuesday said it and General Electric Co. (GE) amended their Master Agreement to extend the time they have to discuss several agreements currently under negotiation.

Among the items under discussion are a possible joint venture between GE and Baker Hughes to acquire aero-derivative gas turbine engines and related new products and the transfer of some assets, liabilities and such to BHGE LLC's existing industrial steam turbine product lines to GE.

Baker Hughes also extended the time period to negotiate a transition services agreement with GE until July 3.

Baker Hughes also said Martin S. Craighead, vice chairman of the board, said he doesn't intend to stand for re-election at the 2019 annual meeting.
