MONTRÉAL, Feb. 7, 2019 /CNW/ - Scotiabank Hockey Day in Canada's® (SHDiC) is excited to bring its cross-country celebration to Montréal on Saturday, February 9, with special appearances and exciting giveaways, all capped off by a Canadian Women's Hockey League (CWHL) game which sees Les Canadiennes de Montréal face off against the Toronto Furies.

As the title sponsor of the 19th annual Scotiabank Hockey Day in Canada®, Scotiabank is proud to support this celebration of hockey, which this year will feature a CWHL game in Montréal.  SHDiC is taking place this year in Swift Current, Saskatchewan, February 6-9, and continuing with celebrations across the country in three satellite locations: Montréal, Quebec, Halifax, Nova Scotia and Whistler, British Columbia.

Scotiabank Hockey Day in Canada® features a 12.5-hour broadcast featuring all seven Canadian NHL®, teams on February 9. The broadcast starts at 1 p.m. EST on Sportsnet, Sportsnet ONE, CBC, Rogers NHL LIVE and Sportsnet NOW.

The event in Montréal is part of the country-wide celebration for Scotiabank Hockey Day in Canada®, the biggest celebration of hockey in the nation, which brings  kids' hockey clinics, games and NHL® celebrities to communities across Canada.

This Scotiabank Hockey Day in Canada® we are celebrating hockey memories and creating new ones and we want you to be part of it!
