Orange (ORA.FR) said Thursday that it met its 2018 guidance on the back of strong revenue growth in core markets including France and Spain.

Revenue in 2018 rose to 1.3% to 41.38 billion euros ($46.95 billion), the French telecommunications company said. Revenue in the fourth quarter rose 1.4% to EUR10.8 billion

Net profit in 2018 rose to EUR1.95 billion from EUR1.84 billion in 2017, Orange said.

Orange said revenue in France and Spain rose 0.9% and 2.2% on year to EUR18.2 billion and EUR5.35 billion, respectively. Revenue increased 5.1% in the Middle East and Africa to EUR5.19 billion in 2018, Orange said.

Adjusted earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization rose 1.4% to EUR13 billion. Adjusted Ebitda for the fourth quarter rose 1.4% on year to EUR3.33 billion.

Operating cash flow rose 1.7% to EUR5.6 billion, Orange said.

The company said it will propose a dividend of EUR0.70 at its general meeting.
