BP Enters Joint Venture With Lightsource BP

BP PLC (BP.LN) said Thursday that it has agreed to acquire an
additional 7% in Lightsource BP, creating a joint venture with the
European solar developer that the British energy company previously
acquired 43% of in December 2017.
Financial details of the agreement weren't disclosed.
"We want to advance the solar energy business worldwide and we
can bring scale, capability and resources to make that happen,"
said Dev Sanyal, chief executive of alternative energy at BP, in
prepared remarks.
