Intesa Sanpaolo SpA (ISP.MI) has appointed five new top managers, the Italian bank said on Thursday.

Tommaso Corcos, chief executive and general manager of Intesa's asset management division Eurizon Capital SGR, will head private banking. Paolo Molesini, managing director and general manager of Fideuram Intesa Sanpaolo Private Banking, will be president of the private banking division.

The bank appointed Saverio Perissinotto, currently general manager of private banking, to succeed Mr. Corcos as chief executive and general manager of asset management.

Marco Rottigni will be responsible for the international subsidiary banks division after nearly two years as chief lending officer for Intesa's governance area, the bank said.

Intesa said Raffaello Ruggieri, currently head of the global corporate department and investment banking, will succeed Mr. Rottigni as chief lending officer for the governance area.

Paola Angeletti, head of international subsidiary banks, will be chief operating officer for the governance area.

All the new appointments will be effective from Jan. 1.
