Spectris plc: Director/PDMR Shareholding

This notification is made under Article 19(1) of the EU Market Abuse Regulation 596/2014 ('MAR').

Spectris plc ('the Company') has been notified by Andrew Heath, Chief Executive, that he has today acquired 1,089 ordinary shares at a price of 2298 pence per share. This purchase was made pursuant to an irrevocable instruction dated 29 February 2020 to purchase shares to the value of GBP25,217.40.

This purchase was made in compliance with the Company's 2017 Remuneration Policy (the "Policy") and the requirement contained within the Policy that any bonus payment in excess of 60% of salary must be used to acquire shares in the Company until the minimum shareholding requirement of 300% of salary is achieved.
