Mosman Oil & Gas Ltd. said Wednesday that it has been paid $107,500 by Blackstone after the company executed an agreement to resolve all outstanding matters with the U.S. investment fund.

John W Barr, chairman of the oil-and-gas group, said that Mosman is pleased to resolve the matter, but didn't provide any further details. He added that Mosman's business plan continues to increase production with a focus on operations in East Texas.

Shares at 0934 GMT were up 3.7% at 0.14 pence.
