At 2.00 am ET Friday, Destatis has released German industrial production and external trade data. The euro changed little against its major rivals following the data.

The euro was trading at 127.44 against the yen, 1.0860 against the franc, 1.2265 against the greenback and 0.9032 against the pound around 2:05 am ET.
