At 3.30 am ET Friday, UK Halifax house price data for December has been released. The pound changed little against its major counterparts after the data.

The pound was trading at 1.3573 against the greenback, 141.08 against the yen, 1.2051 against the franc and 0.9007 against the euro around 3:32 am ET.
