Sam received a Bachelor's Degree in Public Recreation Administration from Georgia Southern University, and a Master's Degree of Divinity from Emory University's Candler School of Theology. He is married to Jennifer, and together they have four children: Garrett, Cole, Aaron, and Kayla Rose.
