Orange and AXA SA have reached an agreement to acquire a majority stake in Moroccan health-tech company DabaDoc.

The French telecommunications company said Monday that Orange Middle East and Africa and AXA Assurance Maroc signed the agreement to acquire the stake in DabaDoc, which provides a platform that digitalizes access to healthcare in Africa.

Orange didn't disclose the value or size of the majority stake, but said the transaction should close in the third quarter of the year.
