Item 8.01 Other Events
On April 8, 2008, Grubb & Ellis Realty Advisors, Inc. (the “Company”) issued a press release
announcing the setting of April 17, 2008 as the record date for holders of the Company’s common
stock authorized to participate in the liquidation distribution. The liquidation of the Company is
subject to stockholder approval, for which the Board of Directors has called a special meeting of
the stockholders to be held on April 14, 2008.
The press release announcing the record date is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and is incorporated
herein by reference.
