FIRST PACIFIC CONCLUDES SALE OF DARYA-VARIA FOR US$35 MLN

First Pacific announced today that it has completed the sale of its entire
89.5 per cent interest in PT Darya-Varia Laboratoria Tbk (Darya-Varia) to Far
East Drug (B.V.I.) Co. Ltd., an associate company of United Laboratories, Inc.
Group, for US$35 million.

ING Barings advised First Pacific on the transaction.
