Maytag Announces Fourth Quarter Conference Call

(NYSE:MYG) will announce fourth quarter and fiscal 2005 sales and
earnings on Friday, February 3, at approximately 6:00 a.m. CT. The
corporation also has scheduled a conference call at 8:30 a.m. CT to
present fourth quarter and full year 2005 results. Maytag's
Chairman & CEO Ralph F. Hake and CFO George C. Moore will
participate in the call. The company will not conduct a question-
