Citgo plans to restart on Oct. 10 an alkylation unit that caused
a explosion in July at the Corpus Christi, Texas refinery,
according to the union that represents workers at the plant.
Valero Energy Corp. (VLO) will shut Friday a complex at the west
plant of its Corpus Christi, Texas, refinery for maintenance and
restart it Oct. 4, according to a filing with environmental
regulators.
Sunoco Inc. (SUN) said Thursday that it completed the turnaround
at its Toledo, Ohio refinery.
ConocoPhillips (COP) reported it was performing a turnaround at
its Sweeny, Texas refinery that could last until Nov. 1, according
to a regulatory filing.
Royal Dutch Shell PLC (RDSA) plans to shut three units at its
Deer Park, Texas refinery in the Oct. 1-24 period for maintenance,
according to a filing to Texas state environmental regulators
Thursday.
A hydroprocessing unit, a catalytic cracker unit and an
alkylation unit will be shut, it said in a Thursday filing to the
Texas Commission on Environmental Quality.
