NEW YORK, Sept. 6, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Delta Air
Lines (NYSE: DAL) will replace BMC Software (NASD: BMC) in the
S&P 500 after the close of trading on Tuesday, September 10. Bain Capital, LLC is
acquiring BMC Software in a deal expected to be completed on or
about that
date.
Delta Air Lines Holdings is one of the largest passenger
airlines in the world. Headquartered in Atlanta, GA, the company will be added to the
S&P 500 GICS (Global Industry Classification Standard) Airlines
Sub-Industry index.
