Siemens AG (SIE.XE) said Tuesday that it has won a contract to provide the Lalitpur power plant in Uttar Pradesh, India, with advanced digital solutions.

The German technology company said the plant is owned by Bajaj Hindusthan Ltd's (500032.BY) Bajaj Energy. Siemens will provide a thermal twin for the coal-fired plant in order to improve efficiency and reduce emissions, it said.

Financial details weren't disclosed.
