CALGARY, ALBERTA--Oilexco Incorporated ("Oilexco" or the "Corporation") (LSE-AIM and TSX-V: OIL)
stated today that it has received notice from the TSX Venture Exchange that, effective at the opening
Wednesday January 21, 2004, the 7,922,350 warrants issued pursuant to the Company's Prospectus
Offering dated December 5, 2003, will commence trading on the TSX Venture Exchange.

This announcement does not constitute an offer to sell or the solicitation of an offer to buy these
