TANZANIAN ROYALTY CLOSES

PRIVATE PLACEMENTS

Tanzanian Royalty Exploration Corporation advises two private placements in the aggregate amount of $2,060,000 announced on September 7, 2010 have both closed.  The funds will be utilized for the purchase of equipment and for general corporate expenses.
