SuperShuttle will inherit 75 employees and 125 franchisee drivers as a part of the transaction. Thomas J. Herrschaft, owner of Golden Touch will remain as CEO and President of Golden Touch Transportation of New York a wholly-owned company of SuperShuttle International. The new acquisition will bring a new business segment to SuperShuttle's existing shared ride service as Golden Touch specializes in operating airline crew transfers from JFK, Newark and La Guardia airports. In addition, Golden Touch operates a number of contracts for scheduled bus service in the greater New York area.
