DENVER, March 6 /PRNewswire/ -- Centana Intrastate Pipeline (CIPCO), a wholly owned subsidiary of DCP Midstream, LLC, announced it will expand the working gas capacity at its Spindletop natural gas storage facility located in Beaumont, Texas. The expansion will consist of two phases. Phase 1 is a 2.5 billion cubic feet (Bcf) increase currently under development and to be available September 2009. CIPCO is also evaluating a 6 Bcf phase 2 expansion that, subject to customer interest, could be available for service September 2011. The non-binding open season will run from April 1-30, 2008 and will be for storage services linked to both phases. The expansions could add up to an additional 13,500 horsepower.
