At the AGM on 13 March 2011, a cash dividend distribution of AED 0.30/share and a stock dividend of 20% (1 bonus share for every 5 shares) was approved. To give effect to this as per Prospectus clause 5(b)(i) and 5(b)(v) of the NBAD AED 2,000,000,000 US Dollar Subordinated Convertible Notes due 2018, the conversion rate has been adjusted from 21.02 AED/share to 17.41 AED/share as determined by the Independent Financial Advisor.
