Anglo & Overseas Plc (the "Company") 
 
Director Dealing 
 
The Company has been informed of the following in respect of the interest in 
the Company's Ordinary shares of Mr John Pearmund, a Director of the Company: 
 
- On 9 May 2008 it was announced that Mr Pearmund had purchased 110 Ordinary 
shares and Mrs Christine Pearmund, the wife of Mr Pearmund, had acquired 77 
Ordinary shares on 8 May 2008 at a price of GBP1.0125. This announcement should 
have reported the purchase by Mr Pearmund of 187 Ordinary shares and by 
Mrs Pearmund of 84 Ordinary shares. 
 
- On 12 March 2010 Mr Pearmund acquired 13 Ordinary shares and Mrs Pearmund 
acquired 5 Ordinary shares at a price of GBP0.9955 per Ordinary share. These 
transactions were the result of an account adjustment by their ISA provider. Mr 
and Mrs Pearmund had not previously been advised of these transactions. 
 
The Company has also been informed that on 20 September 2010 Mr Pearmund 
acquired 218 Ordinary shares and Mrs Pearmund acquired 238 Ordinary shares at a 
price of GBP0.9703 per Ordinary share, and that on 21 September 2010 Mr and Mrs 
Pearmund each acquired a further 4 Ordinary shares at a price of GBP0.9738 per 
Ordinary share. These transactions were through a dividend reinvestment plan. 
 
As a result of the above transactions, the total number of Ordinary shares in 
which Mr Pearmund is now interested is 70,429 Ordinary shares (representing 
0.096% of the Ordinary shares in circulation).
